Privacy Policy
Protecting your personal data is important to us. This website is deliberately data-minimising: it sets no cookies, embeds no advertising or analytics services, and does not track your behaviour.
This is a non-binding English translation. The legally authoritative version is the German Datenschutzerklärung.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the pages are accessed, technically necessary access data is processed in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This typically includes: the requested file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, the browser and operating system used, and the IP address. This data is deleted automatically after a short time.
This data is used exclusively for the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in technically error-free operation pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not merged with other data sources.
A data-processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. As Cloudflare, Inc. is a company based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on this framework and, additionally, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). No profiles are created about you and no data is passed on for advertising purposes.
If you make a choice via the notice about external services, we store that
decision exclusively locally in your browser (in what is known as
"localStorage", under the key consent-thirdparty). No data is
transmitted to us or to third parties in the process. You can change your choice
at any time via the "External services" link in the page footer; clearing your
browser data will also remove it.
4. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser's address bar starting with "https://".
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a treatment relationship) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Online appointment booking, forms and online reception
For online appointment booking as well as for the registration form and the consent form, we use the external service "arzt-direkt". If you click on a corresponding link, you leave this website and are taken to a page operated by the provider. The data you enter there is processed by the provider.
On the "Appointments" page we additionally embed the "online reception" from arzt-direkt. It is loaded only when you actively click the "Load online reception" button. Only then is a connection to arzt-direkt established, your IP address transmitted, and cookies may be set. As long as you do not click, no transmission takes place.
The provider of arzt-direkt is zollsoft GmbH, Ernst-Haeckel-Platz 5/6, 07751 Jena, Germany. The embedded online reception is loaded exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking the button and may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Please also note the data protection information of arzt-direkt at www.arzt-direkt.de/datenschutz.
7. Map display (OpenStreetMap)
On the "Getting Here" page we embed a map from OpenStreetMap. The map is loaded only when you actively click the "Load map from OpenStreetMap" button. Only then is your IP address transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. As long as you do not click, no transmission takes place. For more information, please see the OpenStreetMap privacy policy at wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
The map is loaded exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking the button and may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

- erasure (Article 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR),
